I am so excited about the amazing opportunities God is giving us to invest in the lives of kids here at CBC. But we need more space in order to fit them all in the building! That’s really what Phase 1 of our building initiative is all about. I would be thrilled to have you join us in prayer and in giving. You can listen to a recording of our recent church family meeting that took place on January 29 for more information. And you can check out a diagram drawing of the completed Phase 1 to get a good idea of exactly how we are hoping to expand the facility. Specifically, we are asking you to join us in prayer about what you can give toward this project. On Sunday, March 4, we will be asking the church family to give in two ways:
1) A one-time gift as a kind of down-payment that will get us off the ground in a significant way toward the $1.7 million we need to complete the project, and
2) A pledge amount that you will commit to give over the next three years. Our hope and prayer is that the combination of these two gifts will allow us to move forward
without delay to provide the facility space that we already need now and will only
need more in the days ahead.
